DAFI AT THE ARCHITECT SHOW 2024

At The Architect Show 2024, held at Athens Metropolitan Expo on December 7–8, DAFI 1962 · ATHENS presented two distinct expressions of furniture design: the first version of the Flexora System, developed by DAFI, and the debut of the Laguna Series, designed by Ciarmoli Queda.

FLEXORA — THE FIRST EXPRESSION

Presented within the DAFI exhibition space, the first expression of the Flexora System explored a new approach to modular upholstered furniture.

The composition brought together soft, sculptural volumes and a flexible structure, allowing its elements to connect and adapt to different spatial arrangements.

The presentation offered an early perspective on the design philosophy behind Flexora — a system conceived around freedom of composition, comfort and the relationship between furniture and space.

This first presentation marked the beginning of Flexora's development into a versatile modular seating system for contemporary residential and hospitality environments.

LAGUNA — A STUDY IN FLUIDITY

The event also marked the debut of the Laguna Series, introducing a collection of upholstered poufs inspired by the fluidity of water.

Defined by soft, flowing forms and rounded volumes, Laguna explores a calm, sculptural approach to contemporary furniture design.

The collection was presented within Camere con Vista, across two distinct architectural installations: AQVA, a room dedicated to well-being, and OASIS, a space exploring the relationship between past and present.

Upholstered in nature-inspired tones, the poufs became part of these environments, bringing together contemporary design, materiality and comfort.
