At Hotel Experience 2025, held at Technopolis Athens on October 18–19, DAFI 1962 · ATHENS presented Design in Motion, exploring the relationship between furniture, architecture and contemporary hospitality.

Through two distinct installations, Park Uptown and Mahé, the presentation brought together different expressions of comfort, flexibility and spatial design.

MAHÉ

Inspired by the atmosphere of seaside living, Mahé explored a relaxed approach to contemporary outdoor hospitality.

The installation brought together PERGOLA Living, designed by DAFI 1962 · ATHENS, and the Emma Lounge Chair, designed by Ciarmoli Queda.

Natural tones, layered textures and materials suited to outdoor environments shaped a composition where furniture and architecture came together to express a sense of openness and ease.

Both installations were developed under the art direction of Ciarmoli Queda, reflecting a shared exploration of furniture, materiality and the experience of space.

PARK UPTOWN

Park Uptown explored the possibilities of modular furniture within contemporary hospitality interiors.

Featuring the Flexora System, designed by DAFI 1962 · ATHENS, the installation presented a fluid seating composition that adapts to different environments, from hotel foyers to lounges and shared spaces.

Its modular character introduced flexibility into the architectural setting, bringing together balanced proportions, structural clarity and comfort.
